Shipping

Where do you ship diamonds?
Brilliantly Engaged ships diamonds throughout the world. Our carrier of choice is Federal Express but if necessary we will use carriers that include, Brinks and Malca Amit. In the United States and Canada shipping is free. As each country has their own VAT(Value Added Tax) it is up to the customer to find their countries specific rate of tax as BE is not responsible for this payment. This includes Canada.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available for an additional fee of $100.

I'd like to place an international order. Where do I pay customs fees or taxes?
Brilliantly Engaged collects payment for your orderprior to shipping your package.  All international shipping fees and insurance are the responsibility of the recepient both for shipping and any returns. Once the package arrives in your country, you will be contacted by the shipper Fed-Ex and advised of any taxes or duties, and how to pay them. 

 Can I ship to an address that is different from my billing address?
Brilliantly Engaged does not ship to residential addresses. for security  Brilliantly Engaged prefers to ship to a Fed Ex hold for location  address. We will also ship to a business location with the customers knowledge that our insurance lapses once the package is signed for.

Do you ship to military APO's?
Yes. We will ship your purchase to any military APO using the US Postal Service Registered Mail. Registered mail shipments are fully insured and can take up to three weeks for delivery.

How long after I order will my item be shipped?
Orders are shipped ASAP on the same day upon of receipt of your final payment, usually the day of receipt or the following business day. Custom orders can take up to 14 business days to complete.

Do you drop-ship?
BE does not drop ship.

What if I need an item sooner than the date listed on the website?
Rush orders are available. Please call our Customer Service Center at 877.342.7464 to find out if your order can be expedited.

Are your shipments safe?
Shipments are fully insured and require a direct signature at the time of delivery.

Do you have an upgrade policy?
Brilliantly Engaged offers a trade-up for the full value of the loose diamond. To learn more, click here.

I purchased a loose diamond from you. Do you have a buy back policy?
Should you wish to sell your diamond after the 14 day Return Policy is Expired, Brilliantly Engaged will buy back your diamond up to two (2) years after your purchase. To learn more, click here.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Bank Wire Transfers, Checks (personal and certified bank) and Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, & American Express) To learn more, To learn more, click here.

Is there a fee for paying by credit card?
Credit card purchases require an additional 3% convenience fee. This fee is non-refundable

Will I receive a discount if I pay by bank wire?
There is 1.5% discount for a wire fee. All our listed prices are based upon payment by credit card. There are no additional fees required.

Will I be charged sales tax on my order?
Sales Tax is collected on all orders that are delivered within New York State.

Is there a required deposit for custom orders?
All custom orders, including Mark T Collection and Design a Dream Ring require a non-refundable deposit of 20%, based upon the of the total value of the jewelry item.

When will my credit card be billed?
Your credit card will be billed at the time of deposit and final payment (before shipment).

Can I pay with two different credit cards?
Yes. If you'd like pay with two different cards, please place your order over the phone with customer service at 877.342.7464, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am - 6pm (EST).

What is the credit card security code?
The security code is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on your credit card. Visa and MasterCard users will find this code above the signature on the back of the card. American Express users will find this number on the top right of the front of the card.

Orders and Ring Sizes

Can I order through your website?
Orders may be requested through the website by adding a desired diamond or ring style to your shopping basket. Upon checkout, you will be asked to provide your billing information, including credit card information. Your order will be reviewed by an BE sales representative and you will be contacted for confirmation before the order is processed.

What if I need help placing an order?

What if I have a question about my order, want to change it, or need to cancel it?
All custom orders, including Mark T Collection and Design a Dream Ring require a non-refundable deposit of 20%, based upon the of the ordered value of the jewelry item.

I'd like to place an international order. Do I pay customs fees to Brilliantly Engaged or to FedEx?
When you place your order, BE will collect payment for the item plus the $100 cost of shipping. Once the package arrives in your country, FedEx will contact you to collect all taxes and duties. International shipping is done via FedEx International Priority and usually takes about two days.

How do I find my ring size?
To avoid any re-sizes, we encourage taking as much care as possible to ensure BE is provided with the proper finger size before production begins. To assist you, we offer a helpful Ring Size Guide.

What if I don't order the correct ring size?
Each customer is entitled to one free ring re-sizing within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, the fee is $25 for gold rings and $50 for platinum rings. We'll return your ring to you (no charge) via 2nd day FedEx.

Please note that eternity bands and tension rings cannot be resized. They must be completely remanufactured.

Can you engrave my ring?
Yes. The cost is $3 per character.

I have my own diamond but I'd like to purchase one of your settings. Can you set my diamond into an BE ring?
Yes! When you check-out with just a setting (and not a diamond), you may indicate your request in the notes field of the checkout form. An BE representative will follow up with you for confirmation and shipping details before processing the order.

Can I place a diamond on hold?
In order to place a hold on a diamond, please contact our office at 877.342.7464, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am - 6pm (EST), or send an e-mail to info@brilliantllyengaged.com. Holds are generally for 24 hours, but can be extended upon request.

All hold extensions require a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the cost of the diamond. This deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of the diamond

Can I have a diamond shipped to a 3rd party appraiser before purchasing?
BE will ship a loose diamond, at your behest, to any qualified independent appraiser. The charge to you is $250. This charge must be pre-paid and is non-refundable. If you decide to purchase the diamond, this cost will be applied against the total purchase price.

Privacy and Security

Is shopping with Brilliantly Engaged secure?
Brilliantly Engaged guarantees that our customer’s information is secure. All information sent through our contact forms is encrypted using 128-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL). All orders are processed offline only after confirmation with an Brilliantly Engaged representative. All credit card transactions are processed with secure encryption and fraud protection.

Will my personal information be shared with third parties?
Absolutely not- we keep your all your information private and confidential.

Diamonds and Jewelry

What are the GIA and AGS diamond certificates?
A GIA or AGS diamond certificate is a grading report that from a reputable laboratory which assures the quality of your diamond. GIA and AGS are among the most respected of all gemological labs. Their reports detail key characteristics of each diamond.

What is "Cut"?
A diamond's cut determines how effectively it returns light to the viewer's eye: a well-cut diamond appears brilliant and fiery, while poorly cut stones look dark and lifeless. Well-cut diamonds often appear larger than stones of the same carat weight.

How can I make sure the diamonds I receive are actually the diamonds I ordered?
We ship every loose diamond and diamond engagement ring with an independent GIA or AGS lab report. This certificate can be examined by a qualified gemologist and compared against the unique characteristics of your diamond.

I found a diamond in your website that I like. Is it available?
Our inventory is updated often, however there is a chance that a diamond of interest is sold or on-hold at the time of request. You will be contacted by an BE representative to confirm your request and if the diamond is not available, we will work to find you a comparable diamond in a promptly manner.

What is the quality of the diamonds you use for your engagement jewelry?
Small accent diamonds (known as melee) are available in a variety of qualities. We pride ourselves on using premium cut, G/H VSSI quality melee. Per request, lower or higher quality diamonds can be used and will impact the cost.

Are any of your diamonds laser treated, clarity enhanced, color enhanced, or modified in any way?
No. BE only offers diamonds that are 100% natural and untreated. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and American Gem Society Laboratory (AGSL) will not issue grading reports on diamonds that have been treated or enhanced, so purchasing an BE diamond - which are all GIA or AGS certified -- is another guarantee that your diamond is natural.

What are conflict-free diamonds?
Conflict-free diamonds are gems that were not obtained due to human rights abuses, child labor, violence, or environmental degradation. Brilliantly Engaged guarantees that our customers receive conflict-free diamonds.

We only purchase polished diamonds from established and professional members of the diamond trade with contracts with that ensureing their diamonds are conflict-free.

Can I trade in old jewelry towards the purchase of a new item?
Brilliantly Engaged offers a trade-up for the full value of the loose diamond.

 

  • Full Value applies to the invoice value of the loose diamond at the time of purchase.
  • Trade-Up Purchases require a minimum added value of 40% of the original purchase price. (i.e. a $10,000 purchase must have a minimum of $4,000 trade-up price to receive the $10,000 credit)
  • Brilliantly Engaged reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the diamond for any damages or fraudulent activity.
  • The Original grading certificate is required with your return. A service charge of $150 applies to all Trade-Ups accepted without the original diamond certificate.

Insurance and Long-Term Care

What is covered by your Five (5) Year warranty?
The five (5) year warranty on your jewelry includes a one-time free polishing. Only a return shipping charge applies. This warranty covers any defect due to the manufacturing of your ring. It also covers the loss of accent diamonds, provided that the loss was not caused by customer mishandling or abuse. This warranty is null and void if work is performed on any product without the authorized consent of Brilliantly Engaged.

However, even with our lifetime warranty, it is important to have your ring insured. Insurance covers both the loss of the entire ring and the loss of the center diamond.

Do you provide insurance appraisals?
Yes. All finished items are accompanied by a full insurance valuation.

Do you insure jewelry?
No. However, we provide you with an insurance appraisal that you can use to obtain coverage. Jewelers Mutual is a highly regarded insurance company that sells policies online.

Do you have a retail store located in my state?
Brilliantly Engaged does not operate retail locations nor feature jewelry in stores. This decision allows us to maintain low costs and provide emphasis on quality, service and care.
